Miami Food Reviews-Spring 2021

Updated: Jun 8, 2021

I has the chance to travel to Miami in February 2021. It was a last minute trip for a day, so I wanted to try as much food as I could while I was there. Here are my reviews for all of the restaurants I visited.

I had breakfast at the Orange Blossom restaurant and it was included with my stay at the Plymouth hotel. They had a separate menu for hotel guests and had some amazing options from eggs Benedicts and French toasts. The breakfast was amazing and I would definitely go back to have breakfast there again.

I also went to the Dior cafe to try their coffee and some desserts. The service was ok but the coffee and was good but $9 for one macaroon was a bit overpriced. I would go again but would not get the macaroon again. (Walkthrough at the Dior cafe will be on Youtube soon.)

I tried Vista near Miami Design District for lunch. It was truly a disappointing experience. We sat at their rooftop area. The service was terrible and the food was very bland. The raclette fries were not good, with the cheese already cold when it reached the table. The Cacio e Pepe pizza was ok in flavor, but was slightly burnt on the bottom.

For dinner, we went to Chotto Matte, a Japanese Peruvian fusion restaurant located in South Beach in Lincoln Mall Rd. The ambience was amazing and so was the food. I had the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice and the Steak Tataki and they were both flavorful and perfect portions. This is a restaurant I would absolutely recommend to try out.

There are so many amazing places to eat in Miami. Comment below on some of your favorite restaurants to check out in Miami.
